If you have your moses basket you should consider getting a spare set of moses basket covers. This is not only for aesthetic reasons as you may fancy a change but also so you can wash and dry one set and have another set to use.
At some point your baby, love them as much as you do, will decide to either be sick over the covers or their nappy may leak (it happens even with the big name brands). They also need replacing due to wear and may get torn or damaged. There is quite a nice range of cover sets for both boys and girls, there are also a range of unisex sets with either neutral colours or patterns on. Animals seem to be a popular theme if you wanted something different to the traditional frilly Victoriana style bedding.
For the more traditional style there is the Broderie Anglaise moses basket covers. The frilly trim not only looks nice but also help to hide the wicker of the moses basket. You can get them with longer drapes if you prefer to hide the moses basket stand as well as the sides of the basket itself. The hood is usually made from a separate piece of material that is fixed separately to the hood of the basket. You will also get a matching cover sheet although these are not really meant to provide warmth for your baby and you should use separate blankets or a baby grow bag which are much better than trying to keep your baby wrapped in a sheet or blanket.
There's a moses basket sale going on at Amazon. They currently have hundreds of baby products on sale with at least 50% off. Click here to find a bargain. Or take a look at these baby sale items with free postage.
